Haha, it was. I got P3 soon after which was much more easy to cope with. Still, it was probably better than playing P4 as a first SMT game and then suddenly going from that to a super dark game like DDS or Nocturne! False expectations much.
I realllly love the Persona art, plus there's always so much more of it! Scans galore of all sorts of promo artwork, whereas with DDS there's basically just character designs and then like one promo image if I want to make icons. I have in game caps but they are sooo dark that it's impossible to do anything nice with them! It's a shame that it doesn't have more visually interesting stuff to make graphics from.
I KNOW IT WAS JUST THE MOST HEARTBREAKING THING. It's been ages since I've even thought about DDS2 but now it's all coming back and ohhhh. :(
I agree! Like I know you can get Heat back at the end if you do everything right but still, he's missing for so long and yet he's such an important character! I agree with you about Gale's voice though, it's like Steve Blum has this insane quota that he needs to fill every year for voice roles. But still, I just loved it when everybody else in the party was getting all emotional and he'd be standing there, arms folded, going, "I do not comprehend."
