I keep trying to make icons for these themes and I start out good and then I keep changing my original plan and changing it and changing it and then I end up with an icon I actually quite like but doesn't even fit 1/3 of the theme I picked...


There's no blending, no text and the texture isn't even recognizable anymore...

The themes are k i l l i n g me I can come up with an idea for any 2 parts but then the 3rd kills me. Apparently my creativity is all fried out. I have only one icon done and I've been trying for days!

TBH if people do continue to have trouble w/ the themes I will probably shuffle them around so that only the first 2 are mandatory and the 3rd and 4th are both completely optional? lol i didn't know what I was doing when I was setting this up really, was NOT expecting so many people to be interested (although so many yays that they are) so am happy to work around any teething problems!

nah don't worry about it. I'd hate if some people had started and made an icon they liked already and then had to change it or something. i'll manage somehow (or i'll just submit something really ugly w/e)

you should do it like me;

1. find an image that you really like
2. make an icon that fits only 1/3 of the theme
3. make up convoluted reasons why it also fits the other elements even though it doesn't
4. you have an icon that fits all the criteria congrats
