it actually looks (marginally) better in the 200x200 form but ugh. this theme (blending/font/texture) is hard

I feel you on icons like this. Half the time I blend things together, it looks pretty good on 200x200, and then I resize down, and WOW TERRIBLE. Not that this is terrible, honestly. I like it! You could probably layer up some light blobs/textures on the 100x100 version and make something out of it, I think. Don't give up on it just yet!!

Ohh, a close look at the work of Kay. I'm loving how you used that stripe/swish thingy as a cutoff on the second image, that's so cool :3

If it makes you feel any better, I'm also struggling with this theme... I really don't like the icon I made for it either XD
The funny thing is, I used blending in a different icon, and it turned out just fine... WHY? T__T

you don't need a close look at my work it's just a mess of textures and text sobs (the swipe is the texture LOL) this theme was the worst :C (i hate blending anyway)
