WE DID IT YOU GUYS. WE FINALLY GOT THERE. Here are the results of our animanga battle! Man, once the icons started to roll in I got really excited about making this post, but that was pretty much dampened when I started trying to code it. Sorry it's not beautifully laid out, but I'm sure the icons will make up for it!

okay I'm gonna skip to the third one first because omg it's so beautiful in an understated way I mean look at it the greens are so soft, and the lighting is just right and the texture is integrated into this so wonderfully like wow I'm in love. The first icon is super inspiring as well, I love the texture and the typography, as well as the composition. And this might be because I'm on a giant Sailor Moon kick, but I love everything about the second icon. All of your SM icons are so gorgeous you have no idea how much I love them. The colors on this on are perfectly vibrant, but not too "In your face" the typography is super awesome as well the 'S' and the 'V' stand out to me first and then I look close and read 'Sailor V' it's just amazing

let me just sart out with how much I love your icons like wow everything is so perfectly colored. I love the colors and the grunge-y ness of the first one. I love how you stuck to the rainbow theme but it's kind of unconventional as well because it's muted not vibrant. I also love the typography, and how all of the colors tie in perfectly. I adore the soft coloring of the second one, and the composition and the text work is pretty on spot as well. And back to pretty colors and composition ♥ the third one is so prtety and simply yet complex at the same time I love the composition as well ^^

first of all, honorable mention to icons 1 and 6. As stated before, purples and reds are always so hard for me to work with, but you too made it look effortless ^^ I love how the coloring is soft and muted but vibrant at the same time, as well as how the text has that cool drippy effect in addition to being totally spot on typography. I love the simplicity and the composition of the second icon. The b/w is executed perfectly and the textures you used look fantastic. The third icon is so pretty?? like wow how did you do everything the text is so perfect and the cutout blends perfectly with the background and the coloring is fantastic ♥

katy_111

I love the blocking and all the colors in your first one and how you used the text it's so simple yet so complex a the same time. The colors and lighting are pretty too ♥ and I still need to finish this anime orz I like to refer to the second one as "katy why" it's second title is "I cry myself to sleep" I love love love this icon so much when I first saw it I went "Oh... " outloud it's so pretty the textwork and the colors and the blending are all so amazing it's making me want to go icon more of ZNT tbh and this third one?? like how do you get your text to work with you and your oranges and yellows are always just the perfect amount of vibrant?? I love the composition as well ^^ (honorable mention to icons 4, 5, and 6)

kayable

ngl had a very hard time choosing just three almost all of your icons had something that drew me to them in some way (honorable mentions to 1, 6, and 10) The first one is so pretty I love the colors and how the blue in the background and the pink/red on Hotaru's kimono are perfectly balanced and the typography is pretty pretty too! I love this second on, too! It made such an impact I love how you balanced the text with each other and the pink and the blue compliment each other perfectly. This third icon is so pretty as well (also Gin ♥) I love the blue and the yellow together, and how the texture is integrated into the background ^^

I always look at your icons just staring at my screen in awe they're so gorgeous it's hard for me to put things into words because there's so many different aspects of the icons that I love bUT I'LL TRY: Icon 1) [see previous notes about SM kick] I love this so much omg the colors work so perfectly the typography is beautiful, the textures are beautiful, the composition is beautiful I love it. Icon 2) I love the pinks and the blues together! The composition on this icon is so eyecatching as well, it's so inspiring! And this last one omg it's so simple and elegant I love the colors and the textwork and the composition and the lighting and basically everything about this icon

this was so hard to choose omg everyone's pretty icons are getting to me I love what you did with the first icon and I didn't even see the second Yato until the 5th time around? The colors work so well together and your typography has always amazed me! ♥ Your composition is amazing as well. For the second icon, it was so hard to choose you had so many pretty Galilei Donna icons but this on is my favorite I love the text and the inverted roses in the background are super cool as well. I also love how pretty the coloring is Hozuki is saturated but still muted at the same time. AND THIS THIRD ICON is so amazing I love everything about it, composition, colors, texture work, everything is amazing!!~

I really don't wanna have to pick and choose anymore eVERYONE'S ICONS ARE SO GORGEOUS The text work on that first icon is out of this world let's be real it's so amazing everytime I try and do something I like I go "nope"; and stop doing it but you were brave enough to do it!! And you colors are pretty too! And the second icon is so creative I love it I can't put to words how interesting it is A+ and finally that third one is so pretty I love the blues and the composition and the textwork basically everything about it tbh it's so eyecatching and beautiful ♥

I had a hard time choosing between your Persona icons~ The blues on that first one are so pretty I love how Elizabeth is cropped the textures are pretty too! This second icon is so pretty omg I love the composition and the b/w is executed to pure perfection! I love the little light sparkles around here and there, too! ^u^ And this third icon caught my eye it's so soft and pretty the colors are amazing and everything compliments each other well all to that amazing crop! ♥
